What CivCodex is
CivCodex publishes structured profiles drafted with AI assistance from cited sources and reviewed by editors. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with any museum, university, government or international organization.
Your account
An account is needed only for shelves, bookmarks, follows and comments. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Content and evidence
Every profile carries an evidence level. Content is provided as-is: we work to keep it accurate and sourced, but we do not guarantee completeness, and it is not professional advice.
Your contributions
Comments and public shelves you publish may be shown to other readers under your display name. Do not post content you do not have the right to share.
Reuse
Structured facts derived from open sources keep their original licenses (noted on the Sources page). Editorial text is © CivCodex unless stated otherwise; ask before reproducing it at scale.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version date appears at the top of this page and is recorded when you register.
